Conservatory Update - Renovation Project

The Brief...
Martin approached us as he bought a new property in Kippax that needed some renovation work
One of the projects to tackle was replacing the conservatory to the rear.
The existing footprint, i.e the base and dwarf walls, were ok but the frames and roof had past their sell by date.
The Outcome...
We replaced the roof with our warm Supalite tiled roof, fully plastered the ceiling inside, including spotlights in the roof and 2 no. Velux windows
The frames needed to be replaced too as the existing woodgrain ones were faded, tired and the gaskets were shrinking. All the new double glazing now confirms to Building Regulations as all are now A rated, argon filled, warm 28mm units.
We replaced the frames in rosewood PVCu and are now fully welded, reinforced, internally glazed and high security – and the glass is all toughened safety glazing to conform to regulations. Our team included the plasterer, electrician and installers – all of which replaced a similar conservatory at a neighbours.
