A rotting conservatory that required constant maintenance was getting too much to handle for an elderly couple – they needed a more permanent solution so they could finally get peace of mind and enjoy their conservatory safely without worrying about the outside coming in.

After consultation with the team, Elmhurst wanted to put emphasis on a long-term solution by installing a Solar Controlled Glass Roof. This will also have the added benefit of better energy efficiency to take the sting off those rising energy price; you can find a transcription of his explanation below.
The customer looked for a long-term solution after having to replace their windows multiple times and never quite getting the outcome they wanted. With rising energy bills on the horizon, we believed a Solar Controlled Glass roof would help keep their home fully insulated, with maximum efficiency, and with lower U-values for many years to come.
