After doing research on Elmhurst and finding us on Facebook, Mrs M, of North Leeds, asked us in to quote for a replacement roof as her existing conservatory frames & double glazing were in-tact.
So our installation consisted of taking off the existing roof, fitting a new warm insulated roof with external tiles & replacement guttering, fully plastering the ceiling and fitting appropriate spotlight’s.
Mrs M immediately benefited from the solid roof allowing her to sit in there without the glare from the winter sun and at the same time staying nice and warm and cosy.
The installation was completed in three days with an extra day allocated for the plastering of the roof and the electrics. Mrs M has already given us a glowing report on Facebook and is chuffed with the installation.
Mrs M was suffering from the usual problems with a polycarbonate roof – too hot and too much glare in the summer months and freezing cold in the winter…
As Mrs M’s owns a small cottage style property, the conservatory at the rear is very useful to her as a sitting room.
