In today's episode of Elmhurst Love your Home, Richard talks through one of our latest installations, where we fitted a SupaLite roof onto existing frames.

The customer looked for a long-term solution after having to replace their windows multiple times and never quite getting the outcome they wanted. With rising energy bills on the horizon, we believed a Supalite roof would help keep their home fully insulated, with maximum efficiency, and with extremely low U-values for many years to come.

“We wanted to replace our old conservatory because it was rotting- the wood was rotting. And it needed constant maintenance to it; It was drafty! It was a Wickes’ wooden conservatory with a plastic roof that was gradually falling apart, really.

The window frames were rotting. They were definitely rotting, yeah rotting. We replaced the windows about five or six various times.

Yes, definitely.

I mean… When it was so hot, it was cooler in here than what it would have been with the plastic, draft-proof as well. Draft proof, yes. And this is just fabulous.
