How We Brought Their Vision to Life:

We waved goodbye to the old frames and welcomed a new insulated roof. The once noisy conservatory now felt like a serene sanctuary. To keep the room bathed in natural light, we introduced spotlights and two elegant Sky Vistas. The result? A space that's liveable – warm, quiet, and beautifully luminous.

Richard: So here we are in Guiseley, on the flight path for Leeds Bradford Airport, with Matt and Jillian. What prompted you to contact Elmhurst to replace this conservatory?
 

Matt: Well, we were looking for someone to install this type of roof. We've had a conservatory for about 10-15 years with a polycarbonate roof that was getting scruffy. I started working in the conservatory during COVID, and when it rained, it was noisy and cold in the winter.

Richard: And when I came to see you, I talked you into replacing the frames as well.

Jillian: You did, but we're glad we did that. The old ones would have looked dated compared to the new roof. The sound insulation from both the roof and the doors made a massive difference. We felt insulated, and external noises like planes or dogs barking were much quieter.

Richard: We included spotlights in the insulated roof for you and these two Sky Vistas, the long glass panels. Do you feel a difference?

Matt: Definitely. The room went from being the coldest to the warmest in the house. We were worried about it becoming dark with a solid roof, but the Sky Vistas solved that problem.

Jillian: It's great for stargazing too!

Richard: Did we meet your expectations?

Matt: More than that. I was surprised at the insulation level. The sound and heat difference is huge. Before, if it rained heavily during a meal, we'd move to a different room because of the noise. Now, it feels more like a normal room.

Jillian: It's also less humid with the new windows and roof, so the condensation has improved.

Richard: What do you think of the overall Elmhurst experience? Would you recommend us?

Matt: Definitely. We got a few quotes, and yours was by far the best. The products were superior, and the overall experience was great. Your team worked efficiently, and the transformation was quick.

Richard: We also encapsulated your existing leaded light at the front, which looks nice.

Jillian: It looks lovely. The old wooden frame was messy with yellow paint. Now it looks much better and is more insulated, so it should be warmer in the hall.
